2000 Series
For a quick and simple way to cook delicious food, the compact design of the 2000 airfryer series is ideal for every kitchen, large or small.
You may use foil in an airfryer, however ensure that airflow is not blocked for proper cooking. We recommend parchment paper as it allows for better airflow around the food, ensuring your meals are evenly cooked.
Parchment paper may be used in your Philips Airfryer. Make sure to cut the parchment paper to fit the airfryer basket so that it is not touching the heating element.
Philips Airfryer baskets are generally dishwasher safe. You can also use warm soapy water and rinse the basket prior to using. Refer to the usage guide for specific cleaning instructions for your airfryer model.
Preheating an airfryer is not necessary. However, you can set the cooking temperature and add a few minutes (1-5 minutes) to the cook time to allow the basket and cavity to heat to the desired temperature. Once preheated, quickly add the food so as not to lose the heat when the basket drawer is open.
Glass may be used in an airfryer so long as the glass dish is oven-safe, tempered, and free of any cracks. Ensure the removal of any metal, rubber, plastic, or ink from the glass container.
While Philips airfryers don't require oil to cook, a light amount of oil may be used to season the food. However, oil should not directly be added to the airfryer.
There are many differences between airfryers and ovens. Airfryers circulate air faster, do not require preheating, which helps cut down on cooking time. In addition, Airfryers are smaller than ovens and can be placed on/from the countertop with ease.
